I'm Alex Bruce and I'm running for Belleville City Council.
As a local business owner and the Treasurer of the Downtown Belleville BIA, I have spent the last ten years becoming deeply invested in the economic and cultural vitality of our city.
I have had the privilege of engaging with the residents of Belleville through my restaurant, The Lark, and through my extensive community volunteer work. All of this has provided me with a solid understanding of the priorities facing our municipality and the people who live here.
I am running for Belleville City Council to bring a generational change to our local governance. I'm committed to delivering a pragmatic, people-centric approach to how we run our city. By leveraging my business leadership and grassroots connections, I am committed to ensuring that the real, lived experiences of Belleville’s residents are at the forefront of decision-making at City Hall.
